As a Chiroopractor, I've used NET as a Mind-Body approach to wellness for over 20 years. There are essentially "two ways in" when using this system: "Mind-Entry" and "Body Entry." In this demonstration, I am using the Mind-Entry approach. It is based on the patient stating an "OK" statement. This essentially implies a near-neutrality to a concept or situation, one in which bringing it up (as in "I'm OK with...") shouldn't trigger a muscle test weakness response. Essentially, you should be OK with a concept, even if it's not preferred, in essence not "blowing you out" or short-circuiting the Limbic sytem.

There are three parts of the brain: The Limbic System is the oldest and is sometimes called the lizard brain. It is based in survival. It is responsible for heart and lung activity and all essential autonomic functions (think "automatic"). By making OK statements, you are activating this system. The Mamillian Brain is the middle brain. It is where we feel emotion, and where practically all of our decisions come from. This is where add agencies tap into, since most of our buying decisions are ultimately NOT logical! The outer brain, the youngest part of the brain evolutionarily speaking, is the Cerebral Cortex. It likes to think it's in control, but it's really just the rider ontop of the elephant, when the elephant is really making most of the decisions where it wants to go!

In this video, my patient is telling me about a recent break-up. She is a long-time patient of mine and we have used NET over many years to resolve countless physical issues that come up. Again, as a chiropractor, I primarily address body-issues and not mind-issues, and most of the time that I use NET, I approach it from the Body-Entry approach, which I demonstrate in a following video.
