Dynamic Body Balancing (DBB)

An Integrative Approach to Healing the Body, Brain, and Spirit

Dynamic Body Balancing is a unique form of craniosacral therapy that includes gentle, hands-on manipulation of muscles, ligaments, fascia (connective tissue), and energy systems. What sets DBB apart is its use of motion and positioning — treatments are often performed in seated or standing positions, encouraging the body to move naturally as it rebalances itself.

This technique supports the release of both physical restrictions and emotional trauma. During a session, clients may gently “unwind” in a self-directed dance of movement, allowing for deep fascial and emotional release. Emotions stored at the cellular level are acknowledged and gently released, promoting a profound and lasting sense of healing and relief.

How Does DBB Work?

DBB techniques are based on a deep understanding of cranial anatomy and physiology, and integrate:

  • Myofascial unwinding – to gently release tight connective tissue

  • Biofield therapy – to support energetic balance

  • Motion-based therapy – using rhythmic rocking or gentle movement for enhanced integration

  • Positional release – working in the “position of injury” to facilitate deeper healing

This hands-on approach is particularly effective when performed upright, as it removes gravitational compression and allows the body to respond more efficiently. The result is a faster, more permanent resolution of long-standing pain, dysfunction, or trauma.

Who Can Benefit?

DBB is suitable for people of all ages — from newborns to adults. It is especially helpful for:

Perinatal Care

  • Pregnancy support: uterine ligament balancing, pelvic floor tension, labor preparation

  • Labor support: pelvic opening, contraction efficiency

  • Postpartum recovery: pelvic outlet closing, fascial restoration, scar release

  • Birth trauma in both mom and baby

Pediatric Applications

  • Tongue/lip ties and oral tension

  • Torticollis, asymmetrical head shape

  • Latching, sucking, and swallowing issues

  • Colic, reflux, constipation, bedwetting

  • Delays in crawling or movement patterns

All Ages

  • Headaches, migraines, concussions

  • TMJ, scoliosis, joint or muscle pain

  • Anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning challenges

  • Respiratory conditions like asthma or sinus issues

  • Emotional trauma and stress

  • Post-surgical or injury recovery
